The idea of 'Pristine' came to me when I first visited a lake hidden away deep in the woods, which I had wanted to visit for a very long time. I took field recordings, admired the views, breathed deeply and thought about how much I needed it. It is the delight of visiting a new place, unspoiled, in pristine beauty.
